Pixie Pink | Rubber Base Gel

A transformative solution for thin and weak nails.

FOR PROFESSIONAL USE:

Introducing the Pixie Pink Rubber Base Gel, a premium polymer system that provides a lasting high-gloss finish. Perfect for thin and weak nails, this self-leveling gel is meticulously formulated to create a strong bond between the natural nail plate and gel polish colors. It effectively corrects irregularities of the natural nail plate and provides a thick, durable base coat that ensures longevity beyond 28 days when applied correctly.

SELF-LEVELING:

The Pixie Pink Rubber Base Gel has a denser texture compared to conventional gel base coats, allowing it to self-level efficiently without seeping into the side edges or cuticles. This feature enables Nail Tech Professionals to create a robust acrylic nail appearance that lasts longer than standard gel polish, promoting natural nail growth.

LONG-LASTING:

Our Pixie Pink rubber base gel is compatible with most gel polishes, but for the best results, we recommend using Dan's gel polish. This soak-off gel is designed for convenience and speed in removal, providing a manicure that stands the test of time.

STRONG ADHESION:

The Rubber Base Gel Nail Polish maintains a tacky layer after curing in the nail lamp, which is standard. This sticky foundation ensures that subsequent layers of nail colors or topcoats adhere securely to the Rubber Base Gel, preventing premature peeling and ensuring a stronger, more resilient manicure.

UV/LED CURING REQUIRED:

Curing with a UV or LED nail lamp is mandatory for this gel polish to harden and set. Gel formulas cannot air dry and are only fully set under a UV or LED light. It is important to note that UV lamps typically require a longer curing time than LED lamps.

FAQ

How to Apply Rubber Base Gel Coat?

  1. Prep: Push back cuticles.
  2. Prime: Apply Dan's Bond Primer to protect the nail plate and bond to the gel base coat.
  3. Base Coat: Apply a clear rubber base coat and cure under a UV Nail Lamp for 60-120 seconds.
  4. Second Coat: Apply a second coat and cure under a UV Nail Lamp for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Topcoat: Apply Dan's Gel Topcoat (sold separately) and cure under the UV/LED Lamp for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Enjoy: Enjoy your 28+ Days of Manicure.

How to Remove It?

  1. File: Gently file the topcoat with a 100 Grit Nail File or use a drill with a medium ceramic drill.
  2. Soak: Use a gel nail remover or soak a cotton ball with acetone, place it on each nail, and wrap each nail in foil for 10-15 minutes to soften the rubber base.
  3. Remove: Use a cuticle stick or cuticle pusher to gently remove the softened gel from the cuticle area toward the tip of the nail. If needed, re-moisten the cotton with acetone and place it on the nail for a few more minutes until completely removed.
  4. Buff: Lightly buff the nails again when the gel is fully removed.

What is the shelf life of the Pixie Pink Rubber Base Gel?

The shelf life of our rubber base gels is typically 12-24 months if stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always ensure the cap is tightly closed after use.

Can I use the Pixie Pink Rubber Base Gel with other brands of gel polish?

Yes, the Pixie Pink Rubber Base Gel is compatible with most gel polishes. However, for the best results, we recommend using Dan's gel polish.

What should I do if my gel polish becomes thick or difficult to apply?

If your gel polish thickens, you can try warming the bottle slightly by placing it in warm water for a few minutes. Be sure to shake the bottle well before use. Avoid adding any thinner or other products, as this can affect the performance of the gel.

Is the Pixie Pink Rubber Base Gel safe for sensitive skin?

Our rubber base gels are formulated to be safe for most users. However, we recommend performing a skin test before applying the product to check for any allergic reactions. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.

Can I apply the Pixie Pink Rubber Base Gel over acrylic or builder gel?

Yes, the Pixie Pink Rubber Base Gel can be applied over acrylic or builder gel. Ensure the surface is properly prepped and free from dust or oils for the best adhesion.

How can I prevent lifting or chipping of my gel manicure?

To prevent lifting or chipping, make sure to properly prep the nail by pushing back cuticles, cleaning the nail plate, and using a primer like Dan's Bond Primer. Avoid getting the gel on your skin or cuticles, and always cap the free edge of the nail with each coat.

Product Safety Direction

Before applying, perform a skin test and wait a few minutes to check for any allergies.
