How to Apply Rubber Base Gel Coat?
- Step 1: Prepare and push back cuticles.
- Step 2: Use Dan's Bond Primer to safeguard the nail plate and adhere to the gel base coat.
- Step 3: Apply a clear rubber base coat and cure under a UV Nail Lamp for 60-120 seconds.
- Step 4: Add a second coat and cure under a UV Nail Lamp for 1-2 minutes.
- Step 5: Apply Dan's Gel Topcoat (sold separately) and cure under the UV/LED Lamp for 1-2 minutes. Step 6: Revel in your 28+ Days of Manicure.
How to Remove It?
Gently file the top coat using a 100 Grit Nail File or a drill equipped with a medium ceramic bit. Employ a gel nail remover or drench a cotton ball in acetone, position it on each nail, and wrap every nail in foil for 10-15 minutes, allowing the acetone-infused cotton ball to soften the rubber base.
Utilize a cuticle stick or a cuticle pusher to gently scrape off the loosened gel, moving from the cuticle area to the nail tip. If more softening is required, re-moisten the cotton with acetone and place it back on the nail for a few more minutes until it's lifted.
Once the gel is entirely removed, give the nails another light buff.
