Iguana Green Rubber Base Gel Nail Polish Color
A transformative solution for thin and weak nails.
FOR PROFESSIONAL USE:
The Iguana Green Rubber Base Gel Nail Polish is a high-quality polymer system offering a lasting high-gloss finish, proving to be the ultimate solution for thin and weak nails. This self-leveling gel is formulated to forge a robust bond between the natural nail plate and gel polish colors. It is excellent for smoothing out irregularities of the natural nail plate, with its thick gel base coat ensuring longevity beyond 28 days when applied properly.
SELF-LEVELING:
The Rubber Base texture is more substantial compared to regular gel base coats, enabling it to self-level swiftly without overflowing to the side edges or cuticles. This quality facilitates Nail Tech Professionals in crafting a resilient acrylic nail look that not only lasts longer than a typical gel polish service but also fosters natural nail growth.
LONG-LASTING:
Our Iguana Green colored rubber base is compatible with most gel polishes, but for an exceptionally long-lasting manicure, we recommend using Dan's gel polish. This soak-off gel is designed for quick and easy removal.
STRONG ADHESION:
The Rubber Base Gel Nail Polish leaves a tacky layer post-curing in the nail lamp, which is normal. This adhesive foundation coat allows subsequent layers of nail colors or topcoats to firmly adhere to the Rubber Base Gel, preventing early peeling and guaranteeing a stronger, more enduring manicure.
UV/LED CURING REQUIRED:
Curing with a UV or LED nail lamp is essential for this gel polish to harden and set. Gel formulas are not designed to air dry and will only be set completely under a UV or LED lamp. Note that UV lamps generally take longer to cure compared to LED lamps.
FAQ
How to Apply Rubber Base Gel Coat?
- Step 1: Prep and push back cuticles.
- Step 2: Apply Dan's Bond Primer to protect the nail plate and bond to the gel base coat.
- Step 3: Apply a Clear rubber base coat and cure under a UV Nail Lamp for 60-120 seconds.
- Step 4: Apply a second coat and cure under a UV Nail Lamp for 1-2 minutes.
- Step 5: Apply Dan's Gel Topcoat (sold separately) and cure under the UV/LED Lamp for 1-2 minutes. Step 6: Enjoy your 28+ Days of Manicure.
How to Remove It?
File the top coat gently with a 100 Grit Nail File or use a drill with a medium ceramic drill.
Use a gel nail remover or soak a cotton ball with acetone, place it on each nail, and wrap each nail in foil for 10-15 minutes to allow the cotton ball with acetone to soften the rubber base.
Use a cuticle stick or cuticle pusher to gently remove the softened gel from the cuticle area toward the tip of the nail. If you notice that you need to soften a little more as you remove the soft layer, moisten the cotton with acetone and place it on the nail for a few minutes until it is completely removed.
Lightly buff the nails again when the gel is completely removed.
Product Safety Direction: Before applying, take a skin test and wait for minutes to check for any allergies.
